I’ve not tried out Mastodon yet, but am interested, and find this comment intriguing. Am I to understand that you can create custom feeds with a subset of the accounts you follow? Sounds like a good feature.

Yes but if you want to do just want anything more advanced than putting users in a list you’re out of luck.
