In Canada we just “solved” this issue by reducing the amount of students we allow into the country and limiting how much they can work and stopping their partner from working too.

What does that “solve” exactly? Australia wants students. And we want them to work/pay tax/etc.
The problem in Australia isn’t students — the problem is schools that are ripping off students by failing to provide an acceptable level of education. Those students can’t quit, because then they’d be deported.

Oops wasn’t sarcastic enough lol just funny this is going through Aussie news now, they clearly talk but let’s hope for Australia they take the same ridiculous approach
