linuxisfun@lemmy.world 1 year agoUsing and expanding public transport is much better for the environment (climate, pollution, urbanism, etc.) than making cars even more attractive by making them drive autonomously.

That’s true. But even if the railway service in Germany would be improved a lot, I still have around 10 kilometers from my home to the next train station.
