Comment on Kentucky Republican wants to lower the legal age someone can own, conceal carry guns

I don’t want us to say anyone can fly a plane without a license just because they are old enough and I also think that a some kind of test to see if someone is responsible enough to drink would be stupid when age is good enough for that.

A pilots license and drivers license both have age and competency requirements. However anyone can fly an ultralight at any age.
How about liability? Signing contracts? Voting?
