Didn’t Tumblr announce ActivityPub support last month? They still have yet to implement it, so I guess you already beat them to that.

they announced it more than a year ago, but tumblr now is on a skeleton crew. and no, I do not mean gay zombie pirates, I mean just a few of devs. AP is something hard, Ive done it my way but it would not scale to a tumblr scale.
Also, they have to add a lot of stuff to the interface
