AtmaJnana@lemmy.world 8 months agoWell sure, I know that now but my point is that I had no way of knowing that when I only saw both listings on F-Droid, so their app listing not even mentioning their fork status felt shady.

Agreed - you need to tell users why you exist, don’t expect them to know everything.
