Dudewitbow@lemmy.zip 9 months agoafter you have downloaded the game, you don’t need the steam client, it does not use Steam DRM. if youre arguing after closing you can no longer download the game, that applies to all platforms. What the fuck would you be arguing then.

Again not how DRM free market works. You should not have to download another software to download the game.
Gaming wasn’t about platform, it was the ability to download games from your computer or CD. No signups or anything stupid like Steam legal contracts.
