Ok so hide it behind a mature content wall. Oh wait it already is.
Comment on Twitch updates attire policy to prohibit implied nudity.
ShepherdPie@midwest.social 10 months agoI think it’s less about the nudity and more about the sexualization. People are trying to replicate an OnlyFans account on a platform designed for kids, which is where people take issue. Considering streaming is so competitive, they’re trying to stand out from the crowd by getting as close to porn as they can.

Are you claiming this mature content tag is infallible and people aren’t finding loopholes or skirting the rules? Isn’t that how we ended up with people streaming from hot tubs or doing jumping jacks in a bikini in the first place?

They’re not replicating OF, their advertising their OF, and there’s nothing about twitch or these streams that explicitly advertises to children.

What do you mean for kids? You can play Mortal Kombat 1 fine on twitch.

I mean the intended audience is kids. The site has been around long enough now that some of those kids are now adults but that doesn’t really change anything. There are plenty of sites where you can view tits and ass all day long. Should kids really be subjected to borderline pornography all so Amazon and some influencers can earn more money?
