Ookami38@sh.itjust.works 6 months agoA lot of people don’t! Escalators are big toothed conveyor belts, with a human-friendly box around it, basically. The mechanisms break down, and there’s a chance that box fails and you meet teeth.

Yes, that is what I am describing. And the railing, the bits that keep you from being pulled around the turns for the stairs…
