Comment on Any simple alternatives to smoke ping?
johntash@eviltoast.org 9 months agoUptime Kuma can have a monitor that pings your gateway or google.com or something else on the Internet.
I’m not sure if it’s simpler than smoke ping or not though, it’s been too long since I used it

For me, it is easier than smoking. But smokeping offers more details by pinging the same host 20 times each run. This can help to discover packet loss.
