Marrenia@lemmy.world 7 months agoMicrosoft and Google literally take any personal files you have stored on one drive or Google drive and use it to train their models - I’d say that’s a massive invasion of privacy

Google’s privacy policy states this is only true for public documents: “use publicly available information to help train Google’s AI models and build products and features like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities”.
That seems different from your claim.
