thisbenzingring@lemmy.today 7 hours ago there were hores once before in the Americas. the plains indians had remembered the horses in oral history and when they came back, they were tamed and used like the horses from the ages before. Like no time was lost.

They had been extinct for about 8000 years at that point.
Is extremely unlikely, especially as there is no evidence at all that horses were ever domesticated before 3700 BC, and that was in asia.
