Comment on Best Network File Sharing before a NAS
Okus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 months agoIn my example, wouldn’t I only be able to save .5Tb directly on Linux and only that would be synced to the windows pc? Unless I am reading it wrong, I think I couldn’t have a situation were I save 1tb to windows and 0 on Linux.

Yes… but once you move the 0.5TB in your PC to another folder outside Synching it will be removed from the Linux machine allowing you to download more stuff.
