Comment on Assuming a button that, every time you push it, your intelligence goes up. The obvious and sane thing to do is to push the button all day. Yes? No? Maybe? Is there something that I'm missing here?

Intelligence is nothing without wisdom.
Oh great. We already had 10 threads clarifying what we mean by “intelligence”. Now we gotta do wisdom.
So what do you mean by “wisdom”?
Intelligence is knowing how to shoot a gun, wisdom is knowing when.
That sounds nice and all, but is useless as a definition. The way I see it used, wisdom is knowledge and intuition that is gained from experience, whereas intelligence is a property of a person that allows them to learn quickly.
Spidey-sense is knowing why.
Spidey sense is a made up term for situational awareness. It’s not wisdom.
