🤷 it should be lion’s mane according to the shop i bought it from. it did form a few propper snowballs but those aborted very early

is this really lion’s mane or some other Hericium species? Doesn’t look like Hericium erinaceus, but I’ve never seen a young one

alright then maybe it really is FAE. from my understanding that is what mostly leads to freaky growth. wouldn’t it just get Trichoderma if it was too moist?

Oh also this this the second flush of left, first exteeeeemely late flush for right. I just left it standing there for a few weeks after it did nothing for so long
