rglullis@communick.news 1 year agoThere is absolutely no way that ~40k MAU users are generating 4.2M posts and 10M comments per month. That would give an average of 105 posts per month, per user.

And 165 comments/month is still not enough! For 10 million comments and 40k MAU, we’d need to have 250 comments/month per user on average.

This whole analysis is embarrassingly wrong. Everything went down! MAU, rate of new posts and comments, active instances… they may stabilize a bit now but the decline is noticeable.
