@david I suffer (mostly silently as far as you can tell) through all your mouth-watering recipes and photos, but I just can't let "pane au chocolat" stand.

I assume you mean French which would be "pain au chocolat" (nothing to do with being in pain ;-)) or Italian which I don't speak, but should be "pane al chocolate".

Anyway, I'm just bitching to avoid looking at the picture and description of this apparently delicious-looking dish!
