The point you’re missing is that at the weapons makers have the profit margins to bribe trump and the republicans. If the poor people want their needs met, they are going to have to make a more substantive monetary offering. The president is too busy to consider something so insubstantial as the needs of the voters, unless it comes engraved on bars of gold. And yes that’s “bars” plural.

Theres a reason there are DoD contractors in all US states and territories. That way any congressperson that comes out against the war machine gets primaried due to being a “job killer” in their home district/state.
