Comment on Theoretically speaking, if one wanted to sail the seas while being not very tech savvy – is using a VPN (Mullvad) enough? I would never, of course… but theoretically?

Mullvad has a kill switch you can enable so it disables networking unless the VPN is up and running and traffic is routed through it.
