Great episode again. We’ve only known him for two episodes, but Higuruma has already left a lasting impression and I dare to say he is one of the best written character in the series. His cursed technique also makes for quite an interesting spectacle. I hope this is not the last time we see him.

The fight choreography was fantastic, it’s the reason why I always come back to this show because no other anime has hand-to-hand combat like that. There’s no overuse of slow motion that you often can see in other battle shounens, and you can always feel this great dynamic in movement. It’s like watching a real fight – blink and you’ve missed it.

Again, Itadori can’t lie to save his life and he’s only saved by his golden retriever energy and immense sense of responsibility. It’s a miracle his single brain cell managed to come up with a retrial mid-fight. He was lucky that Higuruma wasn’t some guy rotten to the core, because he’d be dead by now.
