Comment on Which Linux Distribution has the best Community Support?

    My answer is that as long as you pick a Debian based distro, you can ask any of their chat rooms a question and the answer will likely apply to all the Debian distros.

      I’ve had some bad experiences trying to do this. It usually comes out that the distro’s are different enough that people get annoyed when they find out you’re using a non-supported distro. For example, asking Raspian questions in #debian. Has it-worked out for you?

        Well, Raspbian is an entirely different architecture so it never occurred to me to ask questions about Raspbian anywhere not Raspbian specific. That said, I take answers for Ubuntu, Debian and Mint when working on my Pop!_OS install without issue. The same applies to my Mint and LMDE installs.
