thedeadwalking4242@lemmy.world 2 days agoI honestly don’t believe the US could actually sustain a war. We have lots of fancy toys but no manufacturing capacity. They’d get take out sooner or later and can’t be replaced without exotic and hard to manufacturer parts.

depends on what’s your definition of “war.” we were in afghanistan for 20+ years? but yea, keeping up like it’s going now…no chance. if iran manages to fuck up the oil supply for long enough, it would have a domino effect on the world’s ability to do anything, let alone do war

yea ww3 would basically be usa+israel vs everyone else, since we’ve managed to completely shit on all our allies any rinkydink tinpot dictatorship 3rd world countries that support trump would be more of a liability than an asset
