Comment on Federation between Funkwhale and Mastodon?
oddpixel@lemmy.wtf 3 weeks agoJust tested it out. Can’t even see any media that I added to my funkwhale account, or listened to. This applies to music and a podcast. I hope the refactor of Funkwhale ships with a strong emphasis on federation with more ActivityPub services.

I got similar results. However, fediverse servers pull data from other servers only after someone subscribes to profiles on them. I’m setting my own Funkwhale instance and when it’s up, I’ll try subscribing from Mastodon and then uploading something
