TheyKeepOnRising@lemmy.world 13 hours agoI’ve had Linux Mint running on my ThinkPad T430 for a while now and haven’t encountered a single issue. Some distros have awful quality control with their updates (ubuntu) which can cause the issues you’ve encountered. Going with a stable distro is key for a good experience.

Happy to hear its working out for you without any issues. Your experience is valid as mine. But hearing that a normie distro like ubuntu has quality issues proofs my point. :D
