Is temu stuff as bad as it seems (i.e. as bad as it is cheap)? Never bought anything from them out of principle

It's mostly knockoff products sold at way more than they should be with a fresh coat of paint. A raspberry pi 4 for example retails at ~$70. Take that same board and have it basically sold by the OEM, pretty much at cost, but advertise it as a fake "Switch" and sell it for $100. They also get rid of plenty of dead or manufactured overstock.
