I once wrote that genociding Uyghurs is bad, and that comment of mine got promptly deleted by the lemmy.ml admins. It being forbidden to talk about a genocide happening because it’s happening in territories held by China and not in the west is a very big red flag!

Another one is that you’re not allowed to talk about Holodomor, which was a genocide done by Moscow against Ukrainians about one century ago.

I am very surprised that at the same time they do allow talking about the genocide Israel is doing to Palestinians. The lemmy.ml admins are absolutely inconsistent. But, at least some genocides are bad even in their eyes.
