How many millions do we get from central America vs how many from western Europe?
Ya know, that’s a good question.
From the Pew Research Center:
Meanwhile in the more geographically isolated U.S., about eight-in-ten came from the Americas, with about half from Mexico alone.
Next question: why are so many immigrating the Americas?

Well, theres probably multiple reasons for that.
The first reason that comes to mind is theres a land connection. Makes illegally immigrating much easier when you don’t have to attempt a water landing.
Theres also how screwed up most of central America is compared to the US.

I mean, who am I to disagree? In fact, I’d love to agree because Central and South America’s land connection has facilitated close ties to the U.S. historically.
