FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 17 hours agoI probably also started with linux seriously around that time frame. I was also a Windows admin back then. Transitioning to Linux and containers was the best thing ever. You get out of dependency hell and having kruft all over your filesystem. I’m extremely biased though, I work for Red Hat now. Containers and Linux are my day job.

I just liked linux better so I learned it. That’s kind of my whole career, I want to do something so I get certified in it and start looking to get into it. I’m in consulting. I come in and help people setup OpenShift while teaching them how to use it and then move on to the next customer.
