klymilark@herbicide.fallcounty.omg.lol 3 weeks agoIt’s an April fool’s joke from… 50 ish years ago. Hypertext teapot control protocol. Status code 418 was supposed to be what happens if you try to get it to brew a cup of coffee. It cannot brew coffee, it is a teapot.
“This is a Wendy’s” is a response to wildly off-topic remarks, similar in case to 418

That was 100% me transposing the numbers xD I thought it said 1989 for the joke, it was 1998
