Did you know that fascist regimes generally prefer dubbing films and tv instead of subtitles because then they get to control what the film or show really says to their captive citizens.
Google is doing the same thing here.

That’s an interesting thought, but is there more to it? The German market is one of the biggest ones where almost everything gets dubbed, but that’s a country with a pretty stable democracy.
Do you have examples of fascist regimes that dub to advance propaganda?
