I don’t think car to grid will take off because that’s extra wear on your car. But smart charging overnight and not during peak should be easier. Though around here the paperwork for level 2 charging is bizarre so putting it in on level 1 (normal plugin) might be more challenging both for time needed and why would someone pay for a smart level 1 charger.
