Note that !german@lemmy.world already exists and could use more activity.
A lot of times, imo, it’s better to build (or consolidate) existing comms rather than create new ones. What differentiates the new one?

Good luck with both community building and learning! If it stays too quiet out there, there’s also !languagelearning@sopuli.xyz where I know at least a few Deutsch learners are around.
