Munkisquisher@lemmy.nz 12 hours agoI’m fairly tall, 6’2" I quite often meet people much taller than me, that I don’t realise are really that tall, because they are more in proportion. So maybe it’s a perception problem, that you only notice tall skinny folks and overlook the tall average proportion folk.

This is definitely it. I am tall (1.94 m) and in proportion, and my equally tall friend who is skinny gets all the tall-person jokes when we go somewhere together.
