If you can, invest in a pair of Sennheiser 650/6xx. They’re not bass canons but they’re tonally balanced pretty well. They really shine when it comes to vocals so watching shows/movies and listening to shitty quality audiobooks turns it into a delightful pleasure instead. If you’re talking about in ear monitors there’s plenty of amazing Chinese options that don’t cost very much.

I’ve got a pair of Sennheiser gsp670s for home, these are just for dog walks and I still want 3.5mm. literally just wanted a pair of those free earbuds they use to give with phones. for home use, I don’t go cheap on my audio devices.
was shocked when I started to hear a headache from how tinny the cheap ones were compared to what they used to give for ‘free’. sadly dropped em in the snow in my driveway overnight.
