Drusas@fedia.io 1 week agoActually, yes. "Kamado grill" makes me picture a kamado with a grill plate in it. I'm guessing the green egg (which is what I've always heard them called until now) got its name from the ibushigin, which is a kamado designed to (lightly) smoke the contents of the pot rather than to steam rice. The contents sit on a little grill plate in the pot.
And you could feed a village with a rice cooker like that!
