This is a crazy story but we aren’t far from it here in the US, either. As far as that level of surveillance goes. I don’t understand how China has access to the American police databases, though. Or any US based database, for that matter. Is i2 more than just an interface?

I’m not claiming to know the intricacies of how, but Flock license plate cameras appear to be easily accessible by most anyone. deflock.me Shows locations. I would imagine the red alert with interpol probably opened some doors too. But our information is all over the internet for anyone with a little persistence and skill to track down.
