They can blame density, but buildings this big should be designed not to burn like that. Fire breaks so that even if one unit burns down it doesn’t spread to adjacent ones. Then don’t cover it in flammable cladding like the retards hired to put it on Grenfell.

Probably, I am not an expert in construction, but several reports (including this one) say there is a lack of security. Another one is economic struggle as the article also suggest. Many people wouldn’t live in these homes if they had a choice, but homelessness is on the rise in Hong Kong.

I can understand overcrowding, but even with overcrowding the building shouldn’t go up in flames.
