Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 5 weeks agorecently medicaid/ said they wont cover the drug next year, something tells me alcohol liqour lobbyist had something do with it, came at the same time the shudtdown ended with the bill that would ban said thc molecules.

It’s likely partially due to expense of the drug, but it did hurt alcohol and junk food sales.

true. the cost, but its too convenient this happened the same time. interesting, its 200$ for a single prescription for both wegovy and omezpic, so not too expensive, relative to other medication.
