ow so what I have is most likely an active adapter..? nobody knows. Then hopefully also my video card support DP++ and then I need to buy a passive adapter, I'm I correct?
I don’t have any experience with it. But from what I know it’s supposed to only be on your output device and not on your TV. So you just need to check the specs of your graphics card to see if you can use a passive adapter. If it does not support it you should be able to use an active adapter. DP++ is simply a feature to have a DP output port send HDMI signals instead.
Both the cables you posted seem to be passive ones. The active ones will almost always advertise that they are active ones.
