qweertz@programming.dev 5 weeks agoI personally know don’t trust my (probably superficial) insights into the topic enough to be able to gauge this; neither do I have the energy to put into discerning slop creators doing it for clickbait with some backyard engineering or genuinely correct amateurs.
I like to outsource that to proper channels, I understand that it’s probably not 100% fair every single time, but as I said, I have neither time nor energy to judge it properly myself

You have the right approach. If you have neither the time nor the ability to judge for yourself, you should 100% outsource it to the proper channels. I just mean for the people who have the energy and ability to responsibly do the digging, there is no reason to be so limited in your resources.
