Comment on 'No hire' job market leaves unemployed in limbo as threats to economy multiply
HubertManne@piefed.social 6 days agoI find that hard to believe unless they had you interviewing with a mimum wage contractor. I mean its possible but makes no sense at all. Companies realize how much personnel cost and taking them away from projects to evaluate a person they have no intention of hiring is just burning money.

I wish it weren’t true, and they weren’t contractors. Staggering incompetence is now the standard level of quality I see from hiring managers across the board
