dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world 2 days agoYou’re lucky. They’re well-intended, but really awful. You’re supposed to traverse the intersection in the order you arrive. All it takes is for one jackass to waive* their right of way, or run the intersection, and the other three drivers are thrown into disarray. Add multiple lanes to this and, well… good luck everyone!
* Often literally waving at you to go. Through the intersection. At the wrong time.

I feel your pain so deeply on this point. This part is universal, people trying to be “nice” don’t understand that rules exist to make things run smoothly.
My poor soul requires rules be followed, and changed when they no longer make sense.
My deepest condolences that you have a road design that compounds this further.
I bet 4-way stops are a joy for pedestrians also haha
