YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 days agoBro, I live in a tiny little middle of nowhere town that happens to have some of the best tap water I’ve ever had. I feel very lucky coming from Orlando where if I filled up my bathtub, there was so much chlorine it was like sky blue.

Unless the ground nearby contains some off tasting minerals. Friend’s dad had a well on his property but there was some kind of sulphur deposit in the ground or something because it made the tap water stink and taste bad. Like farty water. You had to boil it to get rid of the flavour.
