Oh shit! THAT’S what happened to that series?? That really sucks. It was so creatively bizarre and has become such a cultural phenomenon. That’s so sad. 😢

I wonder if it’s partly the stress of the job, and causing neglect of their own health.

Being a mangaka is already hard but I’m sure the really passionate ones push themselves even further. It’s little surprise that so many of them have health issues.
