Wilco@lemmy.zip 3 days agoIt really should have been. The “conservatives” are not religious or conservative, they are disgusting. The “conservative” republican party is way WAY too liberal for my tastes. We should start calling republicans the “libs”, because they are.

You sound like someone who still believes a party what doesn’t blab about it’s cruelties, wrongdoing and stupidity is a party that is innocent and good. Haha, good one. Who has been the opponent of trump the first time around in 2016, Hillary Clinton, right? Personally I always welcomed trumps presidency. Thanks to him the whole world can see what a farce our democracies are (and it’s not only the MAGAs I talk about). And as Europeans it enabled us to distance ourselves more easily from the forced western dependency/decadency. I just don’t know what’s better: being a US colony as before or the recent stupidity, having a straight-from-BlackRock-lobbyist as a chancellor… Darn, and that’s one of the reason why people become more and more aggressive while becoming decreasingly tolerant to differing world views…
