voided@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 day agoThe 3DExperience package is the classic Solidworks, so it’s purely parametric and has a ton of legacy and advanced features some people need. It also really only runs on Windows, and don’t even bother with Wine lmao xDesign is kind of their cloud-only Fusion competitor. It runs in a browser and has SubD modeling. I haven’t really worked in this one, but I would bet it’s missing features from Desktop Solidworks that would be dealbreakers for a lot of people.

Do you know if you can import and edit STL files with 3d experience?
