those powers are just so completely out of left field that when i first discovered them it immediately killed the single, already dying ember of interest I had in the game.
cause the game felt like this rather hard science ( according to its own internal setting ), going on a vast interstellar adventure to understand the weirdness that an alien precursor race that was vastly more advanced than humanity left behind… Like an medieval knight trying to understand cellphones and electricity…
but nope. Its all just boring space magic. Why does thing float? SPACE MAGIC! Why does this do that? SPACE MAGIC! Everything just ends up being SPACE MAGIC.
