  They used to be. Even subreddit bans were temporary, something like a month, but then something changed and by now pretty much all bans are permament. My last ban was from /r/gaming for a comment that said “seeing 100 DLCs inspires piracy” (this was reference to massive list of Sims3 DLCs).

    Sims 4 has a cartoonishly large amount of DLCs, it’s like over a thousand dollars for the complete experience now

    I reported some edgelords for being rude and disrespectful, apparently that was “Abuse of the Report Button” which has always been “Against the Reddit TOS”, even though and I pointed out that the Reddit TOS that they linked me doesn’t say shit about it not being allowed to report someone for being a jackass, hell it didn’t even say I couldn’t report someone just because I didn’t like them.

    They didn’t even bother rejecting my appeal, they didn’t even answer it

      wow that is crazy… but it makes sense bc everyone knows reddit mods are EXTREMELY biased when it comes to banning
