Setting cpu affinity to a couple less cores fixed for me as well. Using process lasso to make it permanent.

I get CTDs every hour or so, I'm curious if messing with affinity would help there too....

I didn’t ever have CTD, just the input lag / freeze. Depending on the number of cores you have might be worth testing. I have a 5900x, so dropping 4 threads out of 24 wasnt a big deal and definitely made a difference for me.
