Comment on YSK that "AI" in itself is highly unspecific term
Perspectivist@feddit.uk 2 weeks agoThey’re generally just referred to as “deep learning” or “machine learning”. The models themselves usually have names of their own, such as AlphaFold, PathAI and Enlitic.

Does that include systems used for “correlation science”? Things like “people that are left-handed and eat sardines are more likely to develop eyebrow cancer”. Also genetic correlations for odd things like musical talent?
